We are currently served by Pastor Arthur Kringel. Pastor Art has served St. John's since 1980. Pastor and his wife Dottie have been instrumental in expanding Christian education opportunities in Dover. Pastor and Dottie had a vision for an Early Learning Center which Dottie directed from its inception 15 years ago until her retirement September, 2008. The Early Learning Center's new director is Kelly McColgan.
With much prayer and congregational support St. John's Lutheran School located on Walker Road in Dover was opened in 2000. St. John's and the Dover community have been blessed by having Dina Vendetti serve as the school's principal. Dina was voted "Dover's Great Person" for 2007.
Along with the Early Learning Center and the School, St. John's also has "Mid-Week School", which meets every Thursday at 5:30p.m. during the school year.

St. John's also has a very active youth group thanks to the efforts of Don and Sharon Petersen. In a few short years the youth group has grown from less than 10 to over 30. For a taste of some youth group activities check out the Youth Group page and the special Confirmation Retreat.
