One of the ministries of St. John’s is to provide age-appropriate, loving, nurturing and intellectually stimulating care to young children in a Christian environment and to be channels of God’s love to their families. Our primary goal is to share the love of Jesus and have each child learn that s/he has been created and is cared for by a loving God. To accomplish these goals our fully licensed child-care center at 113 Lotus Street in Dover offers the following choices of pre-school classes for ages two through four:

Care is also available between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. and from 12:00
to 6:00 p.m. each day, for those who need to be cared for before and/or
after pre-school.
Our curriculum includes theme-related teacher directed
activities,
a language arts focus which blends a phonics and a whole-language approach,
music, religion and chapel, and Spanish for the fours. For more information

Children who will miss the Kindergarten cut-off date because they turn
5 after September 1, may call St. John’s Lutheran School(734-3767)
to enroll in a M-F, Pre-kindergarten Class in our elementary school at
Walker Road.
